Faculty FAQs
1. What do I do if I get this error?
Error
While copying the content you reached the file quota allotted to you. If you want to copy more files, you must delete some files.
This happens when you reach your allotted space on the eLearning server. Go to the Content Manager tab to see what your Space Usage percentage is. If you are over 100% you will need to download and then delete some files.

2. Why won't hyperlinks work on my Mac?
We’ve recently become aware of an issue involving using the HTML Creator on a Macintosh computer within eLearning. The HTML Creator does not load within the Firefox web browser at all if you are using a Macintosh Apple computer. The HTML Creator does have some functionality when used in Safari version 3.2.3, Macintosh’s default web browser. However, the limited functionality does not include the use of hyperlinks (sometimes referred to as “live links”). The bold, italic, and underline features are operational; just not the hyperlinks feature. This is an issue that affects all institutions using the Blackboard Learning System. Blackboard is aware of the problem, but has not given an estimated time of when this issue will be resolved.

The HTML Creator will not display at all in Firefox.

In Safari, you can enable the HTML Creator but as you will see in the following screen shots, it has limited functionality.

The HTML Creator displays properly. However in the next screen shot you will see that nothing happens when you select the hyperlink icon.

Upon filling this page out, nothing happens at all. You cannot insert a hyperlink.
